# 1-Click Connect (OAuth)

# The Roadmap: 1-Click Integrations

Currently, integrating AI tools with TaskGuru requires generating a **Personal Access Token** in the TaskGuru settings and manually pasting it into the `.json` configurations of Claude Desktop, Cursor, or ChatGPT Custom Actions.

### Upcoming: OAuth 2.0 Identity Flow

We are actively developing an **OAuth 2.0 flow** to completely abstract away manual API Keys.

In the future, TaskGuru will function as a plug-and-play AI bot task management platform:

1. **Inside Claude/Cursor/LangChain**, a developer will click "Connect to TaskGuru".
2. A browser window will open, prompting the user to **Sign in with TaskGuru**.
3. The user grants specific permissions (e.g., "Allow this agent to read tasks").
4. The system securely exchanges tokens in the background, instantly binding the MCP Server or OpenAPI Agent.

Until this feature is released, please use the highly-secure **Personal Access Tokens** generated in your settings panel.
